Privacy Policy

1. Overview

DG12 Studio ("the App") is a creator-analytics web app for TikTok creators. Any TikTok creator can connect their own account via TikTok Login Kit to view their own content performance in a unified dashboard. The App may also support analytics for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube creators in the future, but the data it retrieves is always limited to the authenticated creator's own account.

2. Data We Collect

The App accesses the following data through platform APIs:

• Video/post metadata: titles, descriptions, publish dates, and video IDs for content owned by the authenticated user.
• Performance statistics: view counts, likes, comments, shares, and saves for the authenticated user's own content.
• Account identifiers: user ID / open ID as provided by the platform OAuth flow, used solely for API authentication.

We do not collect data from any other users, followers, or third parties.

On TikTok specifically, the App requests only the following Login Kit scopes:

• user.info.basic — public profile of the authenticated creator (display name, avatar, open ID).
• user.info.stats — aggregate follower, following, like, and video counts for the authenticated creator's own account.
• video.list — list of the authenticated creator's own public videos with titles, cover images, and view counts.

The App does not request video.upload, video.publish, or any Content Posting API scope. It is read-only with respect to the TikTok account.

3. How We Use Data

All collected data is used exclusively to:

• Display the authenticated creator's content performance analytics in their own dashboard.
• Compute engagement and virality scores for the creator's own content.
• List the creator's own videos in their Content Library view.

4. Data Storage and Security

OAuth access tokens are kept only in the signed-in creator's own session cookie and are not shared with any third party. We do not maintain a long-term database of creator data accessible by the operator; analytics are fetched on demand from the platform APIs for the signed-in creator.

5. Data Retention

The session cookie (and the access token it contains) is cleared when the creator signs out or when the session expires. The creator can also revoke the App's access at any time through TikTok's connected-apps settings.

6. Third-Party Services

The App communicates only with official platform APIs (TikTok for Developers, Meta Graph API, YouTube Data API) using OAuth 2.0 authentication. No other third-party services receive any data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the creator's jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children; the App only ever receives data for the TikTok account the creator has personally authenticated.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
